I enjoyed the help with the 7 year old Pyr I just got. He has a horrible rash. They say it has allergies. Now I see the hot spots are normal. I am trying aloe, vinegar wipes, A*D ointment. I love your web page. It is amazing. I am have just gotten chickens, goats, and have 2 dogs. I am giving Oso (bear) egg, cooked the first night, raw the second night. I am a Country living person. Thanks and God Bless you...

Hello from Australia, where my husband and I have similar aspirations. We have White Dorper Sheep which are protected by our beautiful Maremma named Roman. We have three other dogs and refer to our place as dog heaven. We also have hens and a rescue pony. Loved your site. All the best, Carmen

Hi,
Just wanted to say that we have the most wonderful dog in the world thanks to you guys. We have "Bo" who is a male puppy of Jessie and Baron born 10/06. He is absolutely wonderful. We got from the person that purchased him from you. They decided he was not fitting their needs and that he was more of a family pet and that he is. We are so happy to have him. He came to us in July of this year and celebrated his 3rd birthday with us. He instantly became a part of our family as if we have had him for years.

Love your site, and your Pyrs. Thank you for sharing them! The puppy pictures are - of course - adorable. I own a male Pyr that was rescued as a pup, and found your site as I was surfing around - I was wondering if carting would be a fun activity for him as we don't have any sheep or other livestock for him to guard. Thanks for all the good stuff!

Hi Sarah, I need to let you know how much I appreciate all the information on your site! I currently have a 20 month old Pyr named Abby who is pregnant with her first litter. She is my baby, and I am very excited about this but also nervous. Her mate, Jasper, is younger than her, so he is a bit rough at times. Wondering if you recommend separating them as whelping time approaches. They seem depressed when not together. Thanks for your advice and am still looking through the wealth of information you have here. God Bless!

I've just spent the most delightful morning looking at EVERY picture on your website. My husband and I have had Pyrs continually for the 40 years of our marriage and believe they are the best dog breed hands down. Our current Pyr named Bundle is the first male we've had and was a rescue puppy from a sheep farm in Georgia. He will be two on December 15 and is the love of our lives (besides each other that is). He is an inside dog and follows me from room to room all day. He conscientiously guards our yard, keeping it safe from bad people as well as birds, bees and other predators. I envy your life on a farm as I grew up on one in Pennsylvania many years ago. Thank you for all the wonderful pictures of your beautiful dogs and, I promise you, if we move to the country as I would like to do one of these days, we will contact you for a breeding pair, if possible.

Hi Sarah, I so enjoyed talking with you the other day about your Pyrenees. I've been browsing your site non-stop since then and am motivated by you to do things differently in our home. I'm sure if and when we do make a road trip to MN, we will want to soak up as much information from you as we can. Amazing what you've done on your farm! Love your website!

I found your site while looking for Bosch mixers, my grandma grinds her own wheat & makes her bread using the Bosch universal, I am going to start also. I love your site! Thank you for sharing your story. I am actually only an hour away from you, I may bring my children to visit the farm sometime. I am just begining to introduce my family to organic foods, little by little. Thanks again, Candace

Great site! I found this through the Showcase of Gardens on the Square Foot Gardening site. I started a SFG this year because my husband has major food allergies (long story) and through researching solutions to his problems discovered all that is wrong with the general American diet and food supply. We have a tiny yard but will do the best we can with SFG and frequenting the local farmers markets, etc. I'd love to have a place like yours but that is not apparently God's will for us. God bless!

Just wanted to say I love your site. It is my dream to live on all home-grown food. We've been apartment dwellers while my husband finished college. Now he's done, and we're looking for a house on a big lot...
I especially love your idea for growing lettuce in your basement during the winter. I'm going to have my husband make me one of those set-ups.

LOVED your site. I added it to my favorites so that I can reurn to read more. Just starting our chickens. Loved the picture of the chickens and rabbits eating together. We have one rabbit and was wandering if we could let him in with the chickens. The picture said it all. Just wish I lived closer so that I could visit the farm in person!

I truly enjoyed browsing your site. I am determined to have a sucessful and DEER free garden this year. I am an organic gardener as well but would love to be able to have a fulltime job like yours so I could devote more time to our thirteen acre plot. We are busy putting up fencing, our apple trees look good and plans are underway for the chicken pen/garden shed to be built this fall. I would love to come to your place and just snoop and understand more of your thoughts! God bless and continue to enjoy your way of life!!

I want to thank you for calling me yesterday. We are having problems with our yearlings. There seems to be a general lack of inforamtion about training guard dogs. They are not house pets and there is a great difference in training them vs the house pet. Your website seems to have a wealth of info.
